I am an avid crafter. Right now my passion is card making, knitting, and making quilt tops. It is very difficult for my hands to be idle for very long. I am very much like my mother in that way. You know "Mirror, Mirror on the wall, I am my mother after all.

Guest Bedroom Quilt
This is a quilt I finished in 2004 for our guest bedroom. There are 80 blocks and each of them have 42 pieces of fabric and a white button in the middle of each block. The pattern is Foldy Stuff Pineapple. I also made the pillows and valance to match. The only thing bad thing with this quilt is that you can't sleep underneath it. Tooooo Heavy. This cedar bedroom furniture was made by a neighbor of my parents when I was very young. In fact, he made two whole bedroom sets like this. He actually made them from cedar trees he had on his property. It has a very large dresser to match. If you pull out the bed, there are 4 places for storage. I always used it for games and books growing up.
