CDAC Progressive Challenge #4

The main focus for challenge #4 is Halloween.  There are 6 images included in Progressive Challenge #4 and I chose this adorable one from Sew Many Cards to make this sweet easel card.   The sentiment on the inside of the card is from Nana Vic's Digitals.  I used paper and embellishments from my stash and my Copics to color the image.  It is always so much fun opening my box of Halloween goodies that I have acquired through the years - especially the clearance items after Halloween the previous year.

Vickie Quickie September 18 - 30

I made this card for the Vickie Quickie.  The image supplied for this challenge is this lovely Lamp Post.  I also used Nana Vic's - Nana Vic's Puddles - Mr. Jones Puddle - and Dance in the Rain.  I colored the images with my Copic markers.

CDAC Progressive Challenge #3, Entry #230

I made this lovely easel card using the "Sunflower" image from Just Inklined for the CDAC Progressive Challenge #3.  I used my Copics to color the image.  I printed off a second image, then colored and cut out the butterfly to give it more dimension.  The sentiment on the front of the card is from Tlc Creations and the sympathy sentiment on the inside of the card is from Nana Vic's Digitals.  This easel card was made that you can see the front and inside in all when laying flat.

A Very Special Card for my Very Special Sister!

I made this card for my sister's birthday using the bluebird image from Sweet 'n Sassy Connection as a gift from them for my birthday. The sentiment in the lower right hand corner is from Tlc Creations. The crocheted flowers were a gift and I added pink Copics so they would coordinate with the flowers in the image. The birdhouse with the birds on the inside is an image from Nana Vic's. I used copics for coloring both images and Microsoft Publisher to change the color of the sentiment.

CDAC Nana Vic's - Vickie Quickie 1-15 July Challenge

I made this fun card for Vickie Quickie 1 - 15 July on CDAC. The jar of jam and toast image is from Nana Vic!  I found the Strawberry svg. file by doing a search and came across this one. The bad thing is it brought me right to the download screen with no idea where this svg. image came from. I came up with the sentiment on the inside.  I know, a little hokey, but I just had to do it!  Hope you enjoy!

Floppy Latte's Digital Designs "Manic Monday Freebie"

Here is the card I made with your digital image "Funky Floral" given on June 13th for the "Manic Monday Freebie".  I printed the image 5 times and cut the each layer smaller than the last.  I colored the flowers with my copics.  I then used my glitter pen to highlight the flowers and the lines of the image.  The Birthday sentiment is from Nana Vic Digitals.



From One Goddess to Another

This was such a fun card to make!  This lovely goddess digital image is from Nana Vic's Digitals.  The lovely background paper and the sentiment are from Tlc Creations.  I used my Copics to color the image.  I hope this card brought a smile to your face.

A sweet and beautiful girl in our neighborhood turns

17 tomorrow and she does make heads turn.

May I have this dance? Vickie Quickie June 17 - July 1

Here is a card I made for Nana Vic's Vickie Quickie June 17 - July1.  The adorable freebie Vicki gave us for this fun discussion is the Tango Owl.  (Vickie only offers this as a freebie during the first week of the challenge.)  The perfect sentiment I used is from Tlc Creations.  The piano sheet music was found at Music-Scores.  Even with my two left feet - I feel like dancing!



Birthday Easel Card

This is a birthday easel card I made for Nana Vic. I used Doodle Pantry's images, Bird bath,  Garden Hose ants, Birthday Birdie and birthday sentiment, and one sentiment (Have a bee-utiful day) from Angel Landing. I used copics to color the images.  The papers used were:   Solid-- WorldWin doublemates, Polkadots -- American Girl Crafts 12 x 12 super paper pad, and Bright colored rectangles -- DCWV Nana Kids Premium stacks. 

It's a Vickie Quickie May 20 - June 2 Entry

The outside of this card was made using 2 images from Nana Vic's Digitals.  The banana split is from the Vickie Quickie May 20 - June 2.  The birthday sentiment is from Word Art - Birthday Set 1.  I found the m&m ice cream paper in my stash and thought it to be perfect for this banana split.  The m&m's on the banana split have been cut from the paper and adhered to the image.  I used copics to color the image.  I colored the dish green giving it the look of some of the old vintage glassware.

The inside of this card was made using two sentiments.  The corner sentiment is from Nana Vic's Digitals Birthday Set 2 Word Art.  The main sentiment is from an unknown source.  The ice cream/m&m images were cut from the paper used on the front of the card.

Tree of Life

I made this card for the CDAC "Vickie Quickie 1st April - 15th April".  Nana Vic showed us a photo of the painting she had painted and it is just beautiful.  I put this card together on a base of metallic green and the gold metallic papers.  The image was drawn into the 3 sections, so I divided them to show the gold paper in between the sections.  I colored the tree with numerous Copic markers.  I added the adhesive backed gems and a gold ribbon.
This image was only available free to her followers the first week of the challenge and I was not able to locate it on her blog at this time.

Card I made for the CDAC Embellishment Challenge 19

Here are a couple of photos of a card I made for the CDAC Embellishment Challenge 19.  Nana Vic was the gracious host of this challenge and I just loved the beautiful Easter image she offered free just for this challenge.  The sentiment "I am the Resurrection . . ." is also from Nana Vic.  I added the Wishing you a Joyful Easter.  I used copic markers to color the cross image and used Spellbinders Nestabilities to cut out the paper around the image.

This lattice fence and roses are images from Nana Vic's Digitals.  It was a fun putting several images together to bring it all together.  The sentiment used in the center of the card is from Tlc Creations.  If and when I need a sentiment or vintage image, that is always the first place I look.

Crafter's Digital Art Center - Other Theme Challenge

This Nana Vic digi reminds me of my step-grandmother sitting at the kitchen table writing a note. She had lots of flowers on her window sill and always there were birds singing in her garden. I used many digis to put this card together. I cut out the window and each window pane, then placed vellum behind the panes. I used the water can digi from Paper Ink, planted plant from Designed 2 Delight and the bird from Deedee's digis.
