There's always something I am needing a card for - so here are a few of them.

I thought once I finished the wedding invitations (see July 2010) for my step-daughter, I would be able to stay away from the craft room for awhile.  It hasn't happened.  I still go in there once I get up and many times until I go to bed at night.  Part of it is because I have double vision and the TV in there is easier to watch, but mostly because of habit.  I think I have this chair pretty much molded to my liking.

Here are a few cards I have made:  Hope you injoy!

This card I hand embossed and pierced with a stencil I purchased from Ectasy Crafts.  I used a copper colored metallic paper for the base and a ivory metallic paper for the top.  I used a copper colored metallic thread from Sulky and sewed on pearl beads. This card takes a lot of time, but well worth it for very special occasions.

This sympathy card also has an Creative Mind of Sylvie image of a oriental cherry blossom and a TLC Creation sentiment.  The black ribbon with the pink floral design was bought at Michaels with the brand name of Celebrate It - Basic-Basic.

This card is for a bridal shower.  The sentiment is from TLC Creations.  The white paper was cut with a corner/straight set of punches from Martha Stewart.  Sticky back clear gems were used for a little bling.

This card was made with layered colored poppies.  There are several layers to cut and you can put as many or as few as you would like.  The sentiment is from TLC Creations.

This is a simple card made with a butterfly die from Quikutz and floral die from Sizzix.

This card was made with pink and ivory metallic paper.  The Queen Anne's Lace is a rubber stamp from Penny Black.  The butterfly is a Quikutz die.  The borders were made by a corner/straight punch from Martha Stewart.

This get well card is made from digital stamps.  The lemons with ants and the sentiment on the front of the card are from Doodle Pantry.  The get well soon on the inside of the card is from Meljen's Designs (the ant and lemon are part of the digi from Doodle Pantry).  The Glasses with straws digi is from Creative Mind of Sylvie.

This card was made for a little girl in our neighborhood.  I have actually seen her and their dog Daisy sleeping like this in a photograph.  So when I saw this digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil - I immediately had to have it.

This card was also made with an adorable digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil Too.   The happy birthday greeting was done with a die from Sizzix.
